Learn How to Win – ’3rd Chapter’

It has past some time from the 2nd chapter I’ve wrote in this idea of mine. Maybe at first, I haven’t been sow inspired with the subject?!? Why I say that? … In the 1st chapter I’ve told you how you can make some money from your blog/website; in the 2nd I’ve tray to tell you about search engine and how important is to get a lot of traffic. I didn’t think that the first article it should be about how to start a blog/website.
Why I did that? At the time those were the steps I’ve follow … and wanted you to know how I administrate my website!
At this moment I consideret, that I should tell everyone of you, the readers of this site, how you can start one of your one!

The first step would be to know exactly what you want and like to write/promote/sell/etc. on your blog/website. Knowing that would be a big step from the start and you can buy a template, command one with your personalized design or if you are a web master, are many of this template free on the web, but you  have to know to modify it and make it functional.

Let’s take, for example, a WordPress Template , in her final stage, ready to be used!

Now, that we have the idea, we know want we have to do let’s start. Next step will be to install this theme in our platform. I use and recomand WordPress, it has a easy menu and the last version 3.0 is has some very useful plugins.

First log in in your WordPress platform > go to Appearance – Themes > Install Themes – Upload > Choose the file in .zip or .rar and then press Install Now … then Activate it!

 

Once the theme is activate it, we have to create our menu and personalize it! In the left side of our platform we have the menu:

• ‘Post’ – here we can add our article
• ‘Media’ – were you can add video or image file that appear on the website
• ‘Pages” – we can add the parent pages

In the menu ‘Apperance’ is the function ‘Widgets’, from which we can add many option to make our work easy on the site. On this template we have many option from what we can choose, because is a web store it has many e-commerce plugins. Let’s see some example:

Now we have to promote our products/services and for that go to Post > Add new > and write about it, add image or video file to get a bigger impact!
In the end we have to promote the website, the article and the products/services that we want to sell!
