This article is the same with another one, posted about a week ago. In that one I put some image and traying step by step to follow a dream. I hope all of you saw the same dream in those image like me and understand it.

Every morning when you wake up, at some moment you are in the chicken preparing to eat breakfast. Why always take the same boring breakfast, almost sleeping at the table or not having breakfast because you are late to work.

I think that in the mornings your meal will look like in the next picture, you will smile, relax have some coffee and enjoy it.

In this case you will not do like this little girl … She’s waiting for something to eat, but she knows that will be the same like yesterday, choose to go back to sleep and keep dreaming

“The Expendables” is mainly an exercise in nostalgia and action movie wish fulfillment. And violence. A lot of violence. If you are of the right age, or are a connoisseur of the Steven Seagal flavor of direct-to-DVD action film, seeing all these guys up on screen actually is a lot of fun. It doesn’t make it a good movie by any stretch of the imagination, but it’s still a lot of fun.

A group of well-trained mercenaries led by Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone - Rocky Balboa, Rambo) and second-in-command and SAS blade specialist Lee Christmas (Jason Statham - The Transporter, Transporter 2 & 3) along with hand-to-hand combat specialist Yin Yang (Jet Li - The Warlords, Lethal Weapon 4), long barrel weapons specialist Hale Caesar (Terry Crews - The 6^th Day, Terminator Salvation), demolitions expert Toll Road (Randy Couture – UFC) and sniper Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren - Rocky IV, I Come In Peace) are the team known as The Expendables. The group has lived and breathed war and are loyal as any band of brothers. Their mission – go into the South American country of Vilena and take down the ruthless dictator General Garza (David Zayas - Shadowboxing). But their mission is made deadlier by rogue former-CIA agent James Monroe (Eric Roberts - Best Of The Best) and his bodyguard Dan Paine (Steve Austin -WWE, The Condemned) who back the General’s illegal operation.

Just got in from a midnight viewing of The Expendables. The movie was as action-packed as advertised, but done well. Special effects aren’t anything to brag about but Stallone’s specialty lies more in action and there is all kinds of it here. Car chases, martial arts, knife fights, guns and who can forget massive explosions, but done with a purpose. Women and children won’t be flocking to the theaters to see this. It is the classic guy-action movie. I also want to state that I have no bias here though I am a bit of a fan of Stallone and company. I went in with a clear head, hoping to like the movie, but not knowing for sure whether I would or not. And I did like it.

The actors all did great for each role they were given. Stallone was the lead guy and continued his streak of great action movies from Rocky Balboa and Rambo. He seemed to know the right moments when his character needed to take the spotlight and when he needed to step back and let others shine. The scene with Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger with their cameos was classic. I could feel the history being made. Willis came off best in this scene as Stallone and the Governator made in-jokes that most fans will recognize. Mickey Rourke didn’t see any action unfortunately, but he would have seemed out-of-place among this ensemble cast. His scenes were deep, thought-provoking and funny at various points of the movie. Besides Stallone, my favorite role was Jason Statham. Having literally seen The Transporter for the first time last night and this movie, I am fast becoming a fan of his. He can do it all: hand-to-hand, knife fighting, gun-play, humor. Him and Stallone were great together. Roberts was a good villain, but might have come off better with a meatier role. He was fine for the role, but I wish he seemed more as a threat. Steve Austin was basically the main bad guy here as far as the physical combat goes. He did a good job and felt right as far as how his character was played during the film. Jet Li and Dolph Lundgren were great in action scenes, but could have been given less dialogue at certain points.

In the world of the B action movie there is nothing which cannot be solved by a large group of armed men, and “The Expendables” are there to prove it. Even if that job includes taking on an entire South American army in order to free a fictional island from the grasp of a ruthless dictator and the former CIA agent propping him up.

The dialogue is excruciating, alternating between extra-extra-large machismo and humor that sounds like it came off the back of a package of Joe Blow bubblegum. It’s there to fill the minutes in between action scenes, which is certainly typical of the genre but can and has been done much better.

It also doesn’t use its cast as well as it could. Half of the Expendables are absent for a great deal of the film as it focuses on the teams leader Barney (Sylvester Stallone) and his right hand men Lee (Jason Statham) and Yin (Jet Li).

Realizing that trying to topple the dictator is probably a suicide mission, Barney wisely decides to call it off. Or he would if he could stop thinking about their contact (Gisele Itié) who stayed behind and what might happen to her in the generals clutches. He’s not sure what to do about it, though, since his sniper (Dolph Lundgren) has gone crazy and Lee is mooning over his ex-girlfriend (Charisma Carpenter) so much he can’t win a simple knife-throwing competition any more. And Yin keeps demanding more money because he’s short.

It probably would work better with a different director. These sorts of things are all about surface and make no pretense other wise. That sort of movie needs a flashy director, a John McTiernan or the like, who can make the surface so irresistible you don’t mind as much there’s nothing underneath. Stallone isn’t that kind of director, his work is serviceable but not great. The action scenes float between moments of excellence and moments that truly do not work. Come to think of it, a lot of his character scenes do as well, such as an early meeting between Barney, his new employer (Bruce Willis) and his old team leader (Arnold Schwarzenegger) to decide who gets the job. It makes you wonder what sort of world we are living in where Bruce Willis and Eric Roberts are getting out-acted by Dolph Lundgren.

Special effects was the weakest part of The Expendables so if you can’t get past that you might not enjoy this as much as anticipated. There are some bad CGI moments, notably one scene where the plane Stallone and Statham are in, the background seems green-screened. It just didn’t match up too well. I spotted that, but a friend mentioned about that moment as well and a blood-scene that didn’t come off too well. He still enjoyed the film so if you are able to look past things like that, then you should really enjoy this film.
